Amerikkalainen hip hop -bändi. He ovat musisoinnin ohella ottaneet näkyvästi kantaa Tiibetin tilanteeseen kuten monet muutkin bändit (esim. U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, Oasis, Radiohead, Blur...). Manicsit (tai ainakin Nicky Wire) vihaa ja pitää bändiä maailman tekopyhimpanä. Viittaus laulussa Freedom Of Speech Won't Feed My Children: "Little boys with dangerous toys, all bow down to the Beastie Boys".
